For years, this was something I quietly dreamed about. I used to bake in my family kitchen just because it made me feel calm and happy. I never had a fancy setup or big plan - I just baked for the people around me. Then, slowly, I started sharing those recipes online..the easy, doable ones that felt like home. And somehow, that led to Bake Off at 18… and now, a cookbook at 21!

This book is more than just a bunch of recipes. It’s the story of how I fell in love with baking, and how I want you to fall in love with it too. It’s structured like a confidence ladder - we start simple (really simple), with bakes that teach you the basics in a calm, no-pressure way. Then we build. Cakes, cookies, breads, and even a lil patisserie moment near the end. But don’t worry it’s all still very La Maisam: stress-free, no fancy tools, and no impossible ingredients.
